WINTER WARMING SHELTER ANNOUNCEMENT

Athens-Clarke County is experiencing severe cold weather. If you need warming shelter resources:

Stay Updated:

• Visit www.accgov.com/shelter or text ACCSHELTER to 888777 for current shelter locations

Emergency Shelters Available:

• Bigger Vision of Athens (call 4 PM to reserve a bed for individuals)
• Salvation Army (families and individuals)
• Athens Area Homeless Shelter (families with children)
• Family Promise of Athens (families with children)

Additional Support:

• The Sparrow's Nest (meals, clothes, showers, laundry at 745 Prince Ave)
• Homeless Day Service Center (240 North Ave, weekdays 10 AM-4:30 PM)
• Athens-Clarke County Library (2025 Baxter Street, regular hours)
